Conero Film + ADV was founded by Local Bizzarro to promote sustainability practices in the film and advertising industries.
Across its three editions, with the help of its partners, Conero Film + ADV has welcomed over 1000 attendees to its awards shows, talks, and panels.
How did we get here?
In 2023, we launched a monumental cleaning expedition across the 10 hectares of Villa Giuggiola, in the Conero Natural Park, home of Conero Film + ADV for 2023 and 2024.
This initiative brought an entire community together, fostering collaboration and connection.
Out of this effort, Local Bizzarro was born — a non-profit organisation and creative production company made up of directors and artists from the Conero area. United by years of experience in the international creative industry and a shared vision, they worked to create something truly unique for their region.
Over the following two years, that community continued to grow—expanding in size, energy, and shared responsibility around the project.
In October 2024, the U.S.-based owner—who had identified and purchased the Giuggiola property with guidance from our community—presented a completely new vision for the site, and Local Bizzarro has since had to relocate.

One of the best outcomes of CFA has been seeing so many film and advertising professionals discover Conero through our festival and creative retreat — and then come back year after year, bringing other filmmakers and helping the festival and our community grow.
